A 20-year-old man and a 20-year-old woman told police that they were robbed at gunpoint by two males who jumped out at them from behind a Dumpster near the 7-Eleven on Fall Hill Avenue.

According to the Fredericksburg Police report, the incident happened at about 8:20 p.m. Monday.

The two victims told police that both suspects were carrying handguns and they demanded money. The male victim handed the suspects cash from his pocket and one of the suspects grabbed the purse from the female victim before pushing the male victim to the ground.

The suspects were described as both black males in their 30s with short dark hair. One of them had a short goatee and was wearing a white T-shirt and jeans.

Larceny

2300 block of Cowan Boulevard, Sunday, 2 p.m. – Monday 4:30 a.m. A resident reported that his handgun was stolen during the process of moving from his apartment. No suspects or witnesses at this time.

1000 block of Heritage Park, Aug. 18, 11 a.m. – Monday 10 a.m. A resident reported that the license plates were stolen from his vehicle in the parking lot of his apartment complex. No suspects or witnesses at this time.

100 block of Princess Anne Street, Aug. 16 (reported Monday) A resident reported that her bicycle was stolen from the bike rack at her apartment complex. No suspects or witnesses at this time.

1000 block of Bakersfield Lane, Saturday – Sunday 4 p.m. A resident reported that her purse and cell phone were stolen from her vehicle. No suspects or witnesses at this time.

Vandalism

300 block of Germania Street, Sunday 4 p.m. – Monday 8 a.m. A resident reported that an unknown person broke the windshield and driver’s side window on his vehicle. No suspects or witnesses at this time.
