Come learn about the Civil War in Virginia through the Commonwealth’s moving museum, the HistoryMobile

Children’s Muster

Fredericksburg Battlefield Visitor Center

Kids can try on soldier uniforms and drill with wooden muskets while earning Civil War trading cards

10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.

 

 

 

Protecting Jackson’s Left

South Lee Drive, Fredericksburg Battlefield

Stroll the area around Mannsfield’s slave cabins, a Confederate artillery position that anchored the left end of Stonewall Jackson’s line

Across the Bloody Plain

Hurkamp Park at Prince Edward and George Streets

Follow in the steps of Union soldiers as they advanced toward Marye’s Heights and, for many, their deaths

Take a walk along Marye’s Heights, the strongest position Robert E. Lee ever held

Tour Stop 6, Fredericksburg Battlefield

Take a tour of Prospect Hill, where Union troops briefly cracked Stonewall Jackson's line

1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.

 

 

Killing Field to Hallowed Ground

 

Riverfront Park on Sophia Street

Join NPS historians on a procession from the river, ending with a special program at Marye’s Heights
