Bistro Bethem Names Burger Joint

The new burger joint at 314 William St. will be called Vivify Burger Lounge.

Direct message from Blake and Aby Bethem, owners of Bistro Bethem, on the name of their soon-to-open burger joint on William Street in downtown Fredericksburg:

Thank you so much for all of you who voted in our name contest for the new venture at 314 William Street.  It was humbling to see all the neat ideas, and the number of you who took the time to write in.  Bill posted the name in his blog this morning, so.......we have settled on the name:  Vivify Burger Lounge.  Vivify's definition is vibrant gathering place, and to renew, excite.  We are excited to have settled on something fun, and we will be even more excited when construction begins next month!  The design concept and the way the whole project is advancing, the name really encompasses all the elements we are looking for.  We are locking in on a logo design, but are already brainstorming on great branding ideas.  Thank you for your constant support, we really appreciate it.

Blake Bethem has told Fredericksburg Patch in the past that the plan was to open this summer, but that could be delayed because the family now wants to have the rooftop seating ready for a fall opening. The burgers that will be sold here won't be like the higher-priced ones he sells at Bistro Bethem, but they will be quality, he said.
