Calling All Bloggers - FXBG Patch Wants Your Voice

Patch gearing up to launch a platform for local bloggers. Have a passion for something local and a knack for writing? This might be for you.

Are you passionate about something in Fredericksburg, something local? Contact us! Whether it's food, family, schools, government, business, social issues, exercise, fashion or business— if it's your thing, we'd like you to consider blogging for Patch. Anyone may apply.

I am specifically interested in talking with:

  • Musicians, Live Music Fans, Audiophiles and Artists
  • Parents, High School Students, Teachers and Professors
  • Bartenders, Baristas and Foodies
  • Fashion Experts, Stylists and Crafters
  • Volunteers, Nonprofit Workers, Conservationists
  • Health and Fitness Experts
  • Local Sports Fans

Don't be shy! Fredericksburg Patch is on a mission to recruit fresh voices, and this is a great opportunity to make your voice heard. We want to hear what you have to say.

Patch bloggers are unpaid and have complete freedom to write; they own their content and are free to republish their posts elsewhere, so if you are already blogging and want to share with our readers, too, let us know. This is a chance to share your expertise and opinions with a wider audience!

Contact Michael Theis if you are interested in being a part of the conversation.

Know any local bloggers which might want to participate? Tell us in the comments.

Can I watch from here to see if any NEW bloggers show up and read what's on their mind?

Absolutely! That's the entire idea of it: Patch becomes the community billboard with a newsy-vibe. I'll be continually on the lookout for quality local blog content to highlight on our local voices module, and you'll constantly be connected with new blog material.
