College Heights Swim Club Office Burglarized

Police also took two larceny reports and one vandalism report for Friday's police blotter.

 

Someone broke into the office of the College Heights Swim Club and stole money from the cash box.

Fredericksburg Police spokeswoman Natatia Bledsoe said the incident happened some time between June 20 and 7:30 a.m. on June 21 at 500 Greenbrier Dr. The manager reported that the key box and its contents were removed from the fence and the key was used to enter the office. A piece of audio equipment was stolen, too.

Larceny:

Lafayette Tire, 614 Lafayette Blvd., 6/20 6 p.m. – 6/21 7:30 a.m. A mechanic reported that the spoiler was stolen from a customer’s vehicle and the rear windshield was also shattered. No suspects or witnesses at this time.

Buffalo Wild Wings, 1638 Carl D. Silver Pkwy., 6/20 – 6/21 1 a.m. A Spotsylvania resident reported that an unknown person broke a window from his rental car and stole his laptop computer. No suspects or witnesses at this time.


Vandalism:

100 block Wellington Lakes Dr., 6/16 – 6/18 12 p.m. An employee of Dominion Youth Services reported that one of the company vans was damaged when an unknown person put potting soil on the hood and in the gas tank. No suspects or witnesses at this time.
