The Fredericksburg area will likely see temperatures at or below freezing through Saturday, according to the National Weather Service.
Tuesday night's low is expected to be around 12 degrees, the coldest night of the week.
A 70 percent chance of precipitation in the form of snow and sleet is likely before noon Friday, changing to rain, freezing rain and sleet.
Temperatures are expected to finally break into the mid-40s Monday.
