Patch learned from a reader there was a drowning at Lake Anna Saturday, which was confirmed Saturday night by Spotsylvania County Sheriff's Office Capt. Mike Harvey. Harvey said that a body was recovered from the lake Saturday.

No additional details of the drowning were readily available as of Saturday night. Harvey said that more information would be released pending the notification of next of kin. Patch will update when additional information becomes available.

In July 2012, a Spotsylvania teen drowned in the Rappahannock River.
