Fight Outside Central Park Restaurant Injures Two
Police report witnesses saw a man punching the possibly unconscious victim while on the ground during the early Saturday morning fight.
Fredericksburg police responded to Quaker Steak in Central Park for a fight early Saturday morning outside the restaurant.
Natatia Bledsoe, police spokeswoman, said that police found the two victims outside with facial injuries that required medical attention. She said witnesses told police that a fight broke out between two different groups as they were leaving the restaurant at 1300 Central Park Blvd. Witnesses saw one man punching one of the victims on the ground and the victim appeared to be unconscious, she said. The investigation is ongoing.

Burglary
100 block Farrell Ln, 6/30 – 7/1 9:50 a.m. A resident reported that an unknown person entered her home and ransacked the interior, stealing some jewelry and clothing. Access to the house was apparently gained through a window that had been left open after the power outage. The investigation is ongoing.
Larceny:
Matoca C.t, 6/25 – 6/26 7 a.m. A resident reported that landscaping equipment was stolen from a trailer that was parked in front of his home. No suspects or witnesses at this time.
1700 block Lafayette Blvd., 6/30 9 p.m. A resident reported that he was in a back room of his apartment and heard a noise. When he walked into the living room, he found a male subject he recognized as a neighbor standing in his living room. The victim confronted the male subject and he left. The victim then discovered a quantity of cash missing from another room. The responding officer located the suspect in the parking lot and took him into custody. The stolen cash was found in the suspect’s pocket. Joel Martinez, 38, of Fredericksburg was arrested for public intoxication, unlawful entry, and petit larceny. Martinez was incarcerated at the Rappahannock Regional Jail under a $1,500 bond.
F.W. Sullivan’s, 409 William St., 7/1 1:45 am – 2 a.m. A patron reported that her purse was stolen while she was inside the business. No suspects or witnesses at this time.
100 block Longstreet Ave., 6/28 4 a.m – 7:30 a.m. A resident reported that two bicycles were stolen from the yard. No suspects or witnesses at this time.
1000 block Heritage Park, 7/1 12:10 a.m. – 9:45 a.m. A resident reported that his motorcycle was stolen from the parking lot. The motorcycle is a 2007 blue Kawasaki with Virginia registration. The investigation is ongoing.
Wawa, 1140 Carl D Silver Pkwy, 7/1 10 a.m. A visitor reported that his wallet was stolen while he was inside the store. No suspects or witnesses at this time.
1300 block Airport Ave., 6/30 – 7/1 8 a.m. A resident reported that his wallet was stolen from his room while he was sleeping. A suspect has been identified and the investigation is ongoing.
Vandalism
400 block Rann Ct., 6/30 – 7/1 11 a.m. A resident reported that the side mirror on her vehicle was pulled off and thrown a short distance away from the car. No suspects or witnesses at this time.
1000 block Roffman Rd., 6/30 – 7/1 8 a.m. A resident reported that the side mirror was removed from her vehicle. No suspects or witnesses at this time.

The police should do a drug raid in New England Run Apts North. The bldg across from leasing office! apt 204, apt 301 etc.... I'm glad I'm moving in the fall. This is the the most awful place ever. Before, not so bad, now~~~~~ really bad, domestic violence etc..... esp apt 204.
