Fredericksburg Cab Driver Helps Convulsing Woman
Robert Limerick is a third-generation cab driver and works for Virginia Cab Company. He helped a woman convulsing of Lafayette Boulevard.
Fredericksburg Virginia Cab Company driver Robert Limerick's quick actions July 9 helped get a convulsing woman to safety in the 2900 block of Lafayette Boulevard.
Limerick was on the road when he said two men flagged him down at about 9:33 a.m. Monday, July 9, to call 911 for the woman. Limerick said the two men did not have cell phones so he had called 911 and then attended to the woman. Limerick stayed on the line with Spotsylvania County dispatchers until medics arrived. Limerick originally was connected with the Fredericksburg Police Department 911 center and was transferred to Spotsylvania County, who sent medics to the location.
"I was told that I did a great job by emergency workers and the 911 dispatcher," he said. "The young lady was having a major seizure and slamming her head against the porch floor when I walked up."
Limerick is a third-generation cab driver and has been operating a cab in Fredericksburg with Virginia Cab Company for about six years.
"I did what I would of wanted someone to do for me in that situation and that doesn't make me a hero because the real heroes are emergency workers that are out there everyday risking their lives to help people," he said.

Dan, do you want to check your pronouns! Mixing them up throughout the story!

Great story Dan, despite what the English professor here is complaining about.
Wow, people like that need to get a real hobby in life lol.

Scott, maybe you can graduate from the "Duck is a Duck" book and understand good grammar. What a jerk for a personal attack. Thanks Patrick for caring enough to let Patch know.

I am very appreciative for Patrick bringing the errors to my attention. It was a must-fix error and sometimes we miss things. Thank you Patrick.

Good job Robert. I don't hear about much all the way over here in South Korea, but it's great to know that family members are doing great things back home.
