Fredericksburg's median home price continues to trend downward and the market has been cool for several weeks now, according to a real estate report from Avery Hess Realtors.

"The market has been consistently cool for several weeks. Demand level are low relative to the available inventory. It's a Buyer's market and prices continue to fall. Look for a persistent shift in Market Action before prices plateau or begin to rise again," the report states.

The median list price is $322,450. Homes are on the market an average of 224 days.

"Prices have been on a downward trend recently and this week, while essentially flat, doesn't break us out of that cycle," the report states.
