Fredericksburg Officers To Take The Plunge
Fredericksburg Police officers Paul Dooley and Patrick Reed are raising money for the Special Olympics Virginia and they need your help.
Fredericksburg police officers Paul Dooley and Patrick Reed are used to fighting crime, but in February they will be fighting the freezing cold.
Both are participating in the Polar Plunge Festival Feb. 4 in Virginia Beach to benefit the Special Olympics Virginia.
Dooley set a goal to raise $1,500 and he is very close at $1,492 so far.
Reed wants to raise $600 and he has $277 so far.
To help both men reach their fundraising goals, you can donate online.
Dooley has done this before. According to his fundraising website, last year it was snowing with 50 mph winds and 16-foot seas.

Did I miss something there is no mention of Officer Brent Taylor as participating in the polar plunge. Maybe Sara has another issue with this officer.
