Fredericksburg police released surveillance pictures of a suspect in an attempted robbery of the CVS at 591 Jefferson Davis Highway early Thursday morning.
The man handed the pharmacy clerk a note that demanded prescription painkillers, said Fredericksburg Police spokeswoman Natatia Bledsoe. You can read more about the incident here.
"Although the suspect did not display a weapon, he did imply that he would harm the employee if she did not comply," she said. "The employee refused and the suspect left the store, driving away in a boxy shaped older model silver or gray four-door sedan."
The suspect is a white man in his late 30s to early 40s and about 6-feet tall and 190 pounds. He has a dark goatee and a large mole on the left side of his jawline.
