Freezing Rain to Spring Like Temperatures This Week

Monday morning's 'Winter Weather Advisory' precedes temperatures in the 60s midweek.

 

The work week begins with a 30 percent chance of freezing rain and sleet starting at about 3 a.m. Monday, changing by 1 p.m. to rain, according to the National Weather Service. Patchy fog is expected in the morning hours. A high of 44 degrees is predicted.

Tuesday, spring like weather comes to the Fredericksburg area, with partly sunny skies and a high near 58 degrees. A nighttime low of 50 degrees is predicted.

Wednesday will see even warmer temperatures, climbing to a high of 63 degrees with a 70 percent chance of rain during the day. Temperatures Wednesday night will dip to 40 degrees.

Mostly sunny skies Thursday will only take the temperatures to a high of 48 degrees for the day. Temperatures drop to 23 degrees Thursday night.

There is a 30 percent chance of snow showers Friday, with a high near 38 degrees and a low of 21 degrees.

Saturday is expected to be mostly sunny with a high of 38 degrees.
