I-95 Virginia Welcome Center Near Fredericksburg Closed Thursday Night
Will be closed for milling and paving.
Virginia Department of Transportation will close the Virginia Welcome Center and rest area on Interstate 95 south at mile marker 131 near Fredericksburg Thursday night.
The area will be closed from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. on Thursday for milling and paving of the entrance and exit ramp of the facililty.
VDOT said in a press release that "southbound motorists are encouraged to visit the Safety Rest Area located just south of Exit 156 (Dale City) in Prince William County or the rest area located just south of Exit 110 (Rt. 639/Ladysmith) in Caroline County."
