Home Intruder Steals Firearm, Computer
The intruder was in the home the same time as the resident, according to reports.
A resident reported that at 7 p.m. Monday he was on the second floor of his home in the 600 block of Denton Circle when he heard the sound of the back door closing.
"When the victim went downstairs, he discovered that his laptop computer and a firearm had been stolen from the living room," Natatia Bledsoe, police department spokesperson said.
The victim told police he saw a male subject running away from the residence with the items in his hands. The suspect was described as a black male wearing a blue hoodie and jeans.
The investigation is ongoing.

I'm just going to start carrying my weapon on me while at home too... I keep doors locked for others' protection, not my own. Also start turning the alarm on while at home too... What is this world coming to??

I agree, it is nothing for someone to be so brazen as to come into your home when you are there. Everybody aspires to be a thug. There is no morality in this society, the court systems dont prosecute this criminals when they are caught everyone else suffers. Makes you wonder if that man had confronted the man what kind of story would we be reading this person had to be in that home in order to get a gun unless it was sitting on the laptop sad
