Joke Slingers Comedy Tour to Visit Liberty Lanes
Three comics want to get you laughing on Friday and Saturday.
Comics Brian Kerns, Adam Dodd and Alex Moore will be in Spotsylvania County at Liberty Lanes for a two-day comedy tour on Friday and Saturday. All three have made appearances on television at some point in their careers.
Kerns has worked the stage in Los Angeles and at clubs such as the Comedy Store, Hollywood Improv and the Laugh Factory. He was on NBC's Last Comic Standing and appeared once on the People's Court.
Alex Moore is one tall comic at about 7 feet tall. He's appeared on NBC's My Name is Earl and Fox TV's MadTV. He's a Maine native but he, too, moved to Los Angeles to pursue his stand-up career, which is where he garnered attention from casting directors for numerous television shows. His film credits include Dirty Jokes: The Movie, Identity Crisis, and Ted L. Nancy’s Memoirs of a Nut.
Adam Dodd is a Fredericksburg native who is well-known for his guitar-playing comedy. He's appeared on Ryan Seacrest Live, MTV, VH1 and on East Bound and Down, an HBO special that stars another local, Danny McBride. Dodd has also performed at top-notch comedy clubs, such as The Melrose Improv, The Comedy Store and Hilarities.
Bryan Siegel, the comedy club manager, said the show is on the second floor at Liberty Lanes every Friday and Saturday.
"This is the only one where we actually have a local comic act," Siegel said.
He said more people attend the Friday shows and he hears a lot that newcommers didn't even know there was a comedy club at Liberty Lanes. The show costs $10 per person and $5 military personnel, ages 18 and up can attend.
"It's adult humor without the vulgarities," Siegel said.

There seems to be some issues with the Liberty lanes (Laughs) website. They are in need of an update. You can't find anything on their site. So as always I;ve turned to the Fredericksburg Patch for help. Thank you Dan and the rest of the crew, thanks for being here for us.
