Fredericksburg man charged and arrested after City of Fredericksburg police officer spotted him the day after the alleged robbery.
A 27-year-old Fredericksburg man has been arrested and charged with grand larceny, larceny of lottery tickets and trespassing after he allegedly jumped over a 7-Eleven counter on Sept. 29.
According to the City of Fredericksburg police, an employee of the 7-Eleven at 1613 Dixon St. reported that a male subject entered the store while he was in a back room, jumped the counter and stole an unknown number of lottery tickets before fleeing the scene.

"The next morning, an officer spotted a man in the area of the 7-Eleven who matched the description of the larceny suspect. The subject ran from the officer, but he was found a short time later inside a house on Duke Street."
