Man Kicked In Head, Face After Leaving Bar
A man who tried to stop a group of three men from antagonizing a friend was beat up.
Three men kicked a man in the face and back after leaving a downtown bar when he tried to stop them from antagonizing another person.
Fredericksburg Police spokeswoman Natatia Bledsoe said the victim told police that he was in Spirits at 816 Caroline St. when three males were antagonizing another customer. He and his friends left the bar and were on the sidewalk when the three males followed them and started to taunt them. When the victim intervened, the three men forced him to the ground and kicked him in the face and back.
The victim refused transport to a hospital and was treated at the scene. Three suspects have been identified after police interviewed numerous people at the scene. The incident was reported at about 2 a.m.
1400 block Kenmore Ave, 4/18 – 5/2 2:10 pm. A resident reported that his bicycle was stolen from the storage area of his apartment building. No suspects or witnesses at this time.
