Gosh, all Paul Ryan really needed to do was find another closed Soup Kitchen so that he can pretend he and his wife care. This man is evil and claims to be Christian. MY FOOT. Christians care about someone besides themselves. This man is not capable of strong feelings involving someone other than himself. I would rather have four more years of Obama than to let any tea party man in office.

I'm assuming by your post that you know Mr. Ryan personally and how he and his family worship. Can you offer more specifics?

Well, RACCAP, it is common knowledge that Mr. Ryan is Catholic, and one of the very basic tenets of Catholic social teaching is something called "social justice." It is a complicated idea, and just like any church teaching, can be interpreted differently by different people (including different Popes! John Paul II and Benedict XVI had/have very different ideas about what promoting 'social justice' entails in the contemporary age since there is no set canon defining it). Components of social justice includes respect for human dignity, solidarity and the common good, charity, and distributism (wide ownership of corporations and is the basis for progressive tax rates, anti-trust laws and economic cooperatives including credit unions. Rerum Novarum, Quadragesimo Anno, Centesimus Annus and Caritas in Veritate are Catholic Social Teaching documents which advocate a just distribution of income and wealth). Mr. Ryan's 2012 budget has come under criticism from SOME (not all) bishops citing failure to meet "moral criteria" and for cutting programs that serve "poor and vulnerable people." If you really want to know more, educate your own self. Do a simple internet search for Paul Ryan and social justice.

Great victory rally! We WERE there, along with over 3,000 other people and the room was electric. Thanks Paul Ryan. I voted for the President in the last election but after losing my house, my business and my entire savings four years later, it's Romney/Ryan's great economic vision for the future for me. You guys really do give details...a lot MORE than the president does.

RACCAP, do I need to know them Personallyl? I mean he is the one who is out PREACHING for the last ten years about morals, Catholics, The Pope and Birth control, abortion etc. Since those are his beliefs and that is great and his right, how can you not be aware of his thoughts? I mean he states them publicly. I understand about his thoughts on women and their rights too. More important, I know he did a photo op for working in a soup kitchen when the work had been done and the people long gone. Faking good deeds is bad for the mind, the soul, the family, the young eyes watching and it always comes back to bite a person in the butt,

Don't judge someone because they commit different sins then you do.

Gosh Scott V and Ryan Harper, fact is I'm not running for a public office therefore what Sins I may have or have not committed are not front and center. I'm not telling anyone that I am perfect nor am I trying to BS people into believing I care. What I am saying is that clearly Ryan lied, his wife lied, the photographers lied, several small children saw their parents lying about good deeds to those less fortunate. Is that okay? Oh wait, its a little white lie right? Opps how could I be so stupid. LOL.. When I put myself publicly for office then you all have the right to know about me and my life. For now, I just your average Joann
