Pizza Delivery Driver Robbed at Gunpoint

The armed robbery occurred March 2.

A pizza delivery driver was robbed at gunpoint after making a delivery Saturday night, according to Natatia Bledsoe, Fredericksburg Police Department spokesperson.

The victim reported he was walking back to his vehicle at 8:30 p.m. in the 300 block of Princess Anne St. when he was confronted by a male subject armed with a handgun.

The victim complied with the offender’s demands to turn over his cash and wallet. The offender then ran from the area. The victim immediately called 911.

A police K-9 from the Stafford County Sheriff’s Office was called to the scene and ran a track, but the suspect was not located, Bledsoe said.

The suspect was described as a black male in his early 20s, approximately 6 feet tall and weighing 210 pounds, with a “scruffy” face. The suspect was wearing a zip-up black hoodie, dark jeans, and white athletic shoes.

The investigation is ongoing.
