Readers' Choice: Vote for the Best Car Wash or Auto Detail
Where do you go to get the pollen, dirt and dust off your ride?
Does your favorite car wash have short lines, low prices and attendants who pay attention to details? Do they vacuum up the pet hair stuck to your back seats?
Patch is relaunching its Readers’ Choice program and we’re asking you, your friends, family, neighbors, coworkers and anyone else who knows about the area to participate.
Nominations were accepted on Patch through July 9 and include:
- $3 Car Wash at Cosner's Corner
- Rio 17 Car Wash
- Courthouse Car Wash
- Santa Fe Car Wash
- Rob's Car Wash
Winners in all Readers' Choice categories will be announced on Aug. 24.
The poll will open to accept votes from registered Patch users starting on July 23 and close at 11:59 p.m. on Aug. 17.

Tried this place...you get what you pay for. Tried the next wash level up. And for $6 wasn't worth it. But for $3 it may be worth it.

I like the wash on Rt. 2 in front of Food Lion, it gets car super clean for like $6, drys it so there are no spots, and a self serve dog wash is attached, so for $5 more I wash my dog and saves me from killing my back and the mess from doing it in the tub!

Courthouse Car Wash... been going there for 10+ years. Never disappoints. My cars always comes out clean and shiny.

I haven't seen much of a difference between car washes. Just find the cheapest most convenient one. But I'd be interested to hear everybody's opinion on the best auto detail. I used to go to Santa Fe for details but I think Rob's Car Wash is cheaper and does a better job.
