Robbery Reported on Kenmore Avenue
Resident said he was assaulted by a number of people in his apartment and they stole cash.
A Kenmore Avenue resident told police that a number of people entered his apartment at about 12:30 a.m. Sunday and assaulted him, while stealing cash from his pocket.
The police report states the incident happened in the 1200 block of Kenmore Avenue. The victim could not provide descriptions of the attackers, "although he indicated that they had been invited guests," according to Fredericksburg police.
Assault
On Friday night and into Saturday morning, a woman reported that she was assaulted by another female while at Quaker Steak in Central Park. The altercation started between two males outside the restaurant, the police report states.
"The victim reported that an unknown female grabbed her by the hair, threw her to the ground, and hit her several times," the police report states.
The suspect was described as a white female in her early 20s, approximately 5-foot-8 inches tall and 165 pounds, and with blond hair. The suspect left the scene in a black sedan.
Larceny:
200 block of Hillcrest Drive, Friday 6 p.m. – 9 p.m. A resident reported that her son’s bicycle was stolen from the yard. A neighbor reported that two young white males were seen riding the bike away from the residence. No known suspects at this time.
1000 block of Bakersfield Lane, Saturday-Sunday 12 p.m. A resident reported that her driver’s license and credit cards were stolen from a bag in her unsecured vehicle. No suspects or witnesses at this time.
Vandalism:
900 block Charles Street, Aug. 16 – Friday 10:30 a.m. A resident reported that an unknown person spray painted words and images on the back of her truck. No suspects or witnesses at this time.
Shanks Tow Lot, 1313 Alum Springs Rd., Sunday 2:30 a.m. – 3 a.m. An employee reported that the gate to the tow lot was damaged, apparently when a vehicle was removed from the lot unlawfully. A suspect has been identified and the investigation is ongoing.
City Hall, 715 Princess Anne St., Friday – Sunday 7 a.m. An employee reported that the glass pane in the lower section of an entrance door was broken. No suspects or witnesses at this time.
300 block of Stonewall Drive, Sunday 2:20 a.m. – 6 p.m. A resident reported that the passenger side mirror on his vehicle was damaged and remained attached to the car only by the wiring. No suspects or witnesses at this time.
