Shop in Fredericksburg on Small Business Saturday
Start your holiday shopping at locally owned stores on Nov. 24, Small Business Saturday.
Small Business Saturday is on Nov. 24 this year, two days after Thanksgiving. It is a day for everyone to support the small businesses on which their community thrives.
American Express founded the day in 2010 to help small businesses obtain exposure during the holiday season, when they might be otherwise overlooked as big box stores steal the spotlight on Black Friday.
With retailers buzzing around the holidays, it's important to support local small businesses, which rely on their neighbors to continue prospering and building the local economy in Fredericksburg.
Last year about 100 million people nationwide shopped locally and helped boost the economy in their communities on Small Business Saturday.

The Wilson Family Butcher in Catlet---THE BEST meats ever! Highly recommend them! If they don't have what you want---they can get it for you! They make their own sausages, which are fabulous!
