The deadline to fill out an application for a Spotsylvania County Business Incentive Grant is Sept. 1.
The Spotsylvania Economic Development Authority program provides cash grants to partially defray the costs of start-up operations and expansions, which can free up business capital. The program is meant to increase the county's tax base, create jobs and increase payroll.
