Get Your Irish On

  • When: Friday - Sunday, March 15, 16, 17; 11:30 a.m. - 1 a.m.
  • Where: Park Lane Tavern
  • Why Go: Live music, traditional Irish fare, green cask condition real ale.
  • Cost: FREE admission. Pay for food and beverages.

Follow the Route of the Irish Brigade - 3rd Annual Scavenger Hunt

  • When: Saturday, March 16, 11 a.m.
  • Where: Colonial Tavern
  • Why Go: Follow the route of the Irish Brigade to find clues throughout Fredericksburg. T-shirts, food and drinks will be provided. 
  • Price: $10, adults; $5, children

St. Patrick's Day Parade

  • When: Saturday, March 16, 11 a.m. - 4 p.m.
  • Where: Spotsylvania County Business Park to the Blue & Gray Brewing Co.
  • Why Go: Live music, corned beef and cabbage, Irish dance songs, magician and more. 
  • Price: FREE

Sir James Galway - UMW Philharmonic Orchestra

  • When: Saturday, March 16, 7:30 p.m.
  • Where: University of Mary Washington, Dodd Auditorium
  • Why Go: Noted as the "Man with the Golden Flute," Sir James Galway is sure to impress with his classical flute repertoire.
  • Price: $35 - $70

St. Patrick's Rockabilly Bash 

  • When: Saturday, March 16, 8 p.m.
  • Where: Hard Times Cafe
  • Why Go: Live music, a sexy hot rod contest, DJ, prizes and more to celebrate St. Patrick's Day. 
  • Price: $5

The Fredericksburg Capital Ale House St. Patrick's Day Celebration

Rock the Shamrock

  • When: Sunday, March 17, 1 - 7 p.m.
  • Where: The Inn at the Olde Silk Mill
  • Why Go: Rock out to five live bands, enjoy Irish fare, a cash bar, and play cornhole. Proceeds go towards Community Outreach Inc. 
  • Price: $5

St. Patrick's Day Shamrock Showdown

  • When: Sunday, March 17, 2 p.m.
  • Where: Brock's Riverside Grill 
  • Why Go: Live music, hot dog slam-down challenge, the leprechaun lift, drink specials and more going on all day. 
  • Price: FREE
