Stafford Teen Robbed At Gunpoint At Spotsy Mall
The two robbers approached the 19-year-old Stafford teenager in the parking lot of Spotsylvania Towne Centre and demanded his shoes and money as they pointed a gun at him.
Two teenagers were arrested for robbing a man in the parking lot of the Spotsylvania Towne Centre on March 10.
The 19-year-old Stafford victim told Spotsylvania sheriff's deputies that at about 9:10 p.m. on March 10 in the parking lot of the Spotsylvania Towne Centre he was approached by two young black males who displayed a handgun while they demanded his shoes and money. The victim said the two robbers originally asked him for a cigarette and a ride to McDonald's but he refused. Then, the robbers displayed a handgun and demanded his shoes and money.
"The victim handed over an undisclosed amount of cash and then ran away from the suspects yelling they had a gun," said sheriff's office spokesman Mike Harvey.
First Sergeant R. Pittman set up a perimeter in the area of the Regal Cinemas in Central Park and he thought he saw the two suspects enter a wooded area behind Regal Cinemas. A police dog was called in and deputies recovered a BB pellet gun in the wooded area behind the movie theater. The two suspects were found and so was the cash matching the amount taken from the victim. Both suspects are minors and their names were not disclosed. They were being held at the Juvenile Detention Center.

Good job catching them so fast. Sad that they are juveniles and already using a gun to rob people.
