This Week's Weather: Warm Start to Week, Possible Showers Tuesday
Weather starts out in the 60s Monday, gets chillier through the week, forecasters predict.
The Fredericksburg area will enjoy another spring like day at the start of the week, with a high of 66 degrees on Monday, according to the National Weather Service forecast.
Monday: Partly cloudy skies Monday will lead to precipitation later in the evening. The National Weather Service predicts an 80 percent chance of rain Monday night.
Tuesday: Forecasters predict rain Tuesday during the day. Temperatures Tuesday will hit a high of 61 degrees. By Tuesday evening, the rain should clear out of the area, with partly cloudy skies and a low around 37.
Wednesday: The day will dawn clear and sunny, with a high near 54 degrees for the day. Evening skies will be clear and temperatures will likely drop to 32 degrees Wednesday night.
Thursday: Another sunny day Thursday, but with chillier temperatures. Highs are expected around 50 degrees. Clouds will roll in Thursday night and temperatures will decrease to 33 degrees.
Friday: There will be a bit of a warm-up Friday, with temperatures climbing to 54 degrees under partly cloudy skies.
The weekend will see highs near 60, sunny on Saturday and a 30 percent chance of rain on Sunday.
