TWA Winter Jumper Series Champions

Grand champion and reserve champion winners competed in a minimum of three of the five shows in the winter series.

The final show in the TWA Horse Shows five-show winter series took place at Hazelwild Farm Saturday.  The champion and reserve champion winners in each division are as follows:

Puddle Jumpers 2' - 2.3'

  • Grand Champion: One Fine Friday, owned and ridden by Hannah Childers.
  • Reserve Grand Champion: Irish Eyes, owned by Cranberry Acres, Sue Ambrose; ridden by Payge Patnaude.

Novice Jumper 2.3' - 2.6'

  • Grand Champion: Cole Pepper, owned by Cranberry Acres, Sue Ambrose; ridden by Emma Branard.
  • Reserve Grand Champion: Ace in the Hole, owned by Run Around Ranch, ridden by Haley Houchens.

Novice CH/AA Jumper 2.3' - 2.6'

  • Grand Champion: Moose, owned by JGS Riding, ridden by Cammille Suder.
  • Reserve Grand Champion: Starstruck, owned and ridden by Bell Hall.

Low Jumper 2.6' - 3'

  • Grand Champion: Program Error, owned by Alyse McLeod, ridden by Katie Grandelli.
  • Reserve Grand Champion: Tainted Love, owned and ridden by Chloe Childers.

CH/AA Jumper 2.9' - 3.3'

  • Grand Champion: My Dream Come True, owned and ridden by Hannah Peterson.
  • Reserve Grand Champion: Umbrella Drink, owned and ridden by Chloe Childers.

Schooling Jumper 3' - 3.6'

  • Grand Champion: Burn Notice, owned by Donna Bourcier, ridden by Luanne Johnson.
  • Reserve Grand Champion: Morning Glory Belle Fille, owned and ridden by Janet Gunn.

The Virginia Pony Breeders Association (VPBA) Benefit Short Circuit Show on April 20 is the next TWA horse show.  It will be held at the Warrenton Show Grounds in Warrenton, Va.
