Vandals Target Vehicle Windows
Three reported vandalism cases involving vehicle windows.
Vandals targeted numerous vehicles this week, breaking out windows and causing hundreds of dollars in damages.
The Fredericksburg Police Department received three complaints this week about vehicle damage. All About Clean on Central Road reported that all of the company van's windows were broken out sometime between Feb. 6 and Feb. 7.
A Spotsylvania County resident reported that the windshield and driver's side window of his vehicle parked on Dixon Street were shattered sometime between Feb. 6 and Feb. 7.
And a resident of Fall Hill Avenue reported that the passenger side mirror of her vehicle was smashed sometime between Feb. 2 and Feb. 7.
Police do not have suspects in any of these cases.
Yesterday, Fredericksburg Police arrested a local man who has felony warrants out of Pennsylvania.
Franklin L. Dane, 41, was arrested outside the 7-Eleven on Fall Hill Avenue for warrants from Berwick, Pa. He is charged with two counts of felony kidnapping with a firearm, two counts of criminal conspiracy, burglary, two counts of unlawful restraint, aggravated assault, two counts of threats, and two counts of assault.
