VIDEO: McDonnell Will be 'Top Advocate' for Romney in Virginia
Governor has been traveling around the country stumping for the former Massachusetts governor
Virginia Gov. Bob McDonnell was asked on Tuesday if he were a better choice than Florida Senator Marco Rubio for presumptive Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney's running mate.
"I will be the top advocate for Mitt Romney in Virginia," said McDonnell, after laughing at the question.
McDonnell also said that President Barack Obama is a "good man, a good family man, he's worked hard, but the policies haven't worked."
McDonnel was in Dale City on Tuesday for the groundbreaking ceremony for Interstate 95 high occupancy toll lanes.
Romney will be stopping in Manassas on Saturday for a bus tour. ABC News reported that McDonnell will join Romney on the bus tour.

As surpising as it may seem, that McDonnell thinks "Obama's policies haven't worked". I bet McDonnell coldn't tell us what Romney's policies are.
Simply because, Romney has yet to give us any idea of what he would do to improve anything. Everything he has suggested has been tried by the GOP for 30 years and have failed miserably. Nothing new with tax breaks for the wealthy, trickle down economics, denying women rights, gross discriminations, and threatening war in the middle east for no apparent reason, haven't worked to improve a thing, other than increase the wealth of people like Mitt Romney and an increase deposits in offshore banks for people like Mitt Romney. In his 20's during the Viet Nam war he showed his cowardice and now, when his five sons were between the age's of 19 and 30 since 9/11, we see the family history and tradition of letting others fight and die in defense of our country, the Romney's feel it is either below their station in America or they remain cowards. If we've learned anything from George Bush, cowards who are sons of wealthy politicians make lousy presidents...
