Weather Alert: How Much Snow Will Fredericksburg Get?
Rain and sleet expected to turn to snow overnight Tuesday.
The Fredericksburg area could see as much as 7 inches of snow, according to the forecast from the National Weather Service.
According to the National Weather Service, the area could see anywhere between 3 inches to 7 inches of snow.

Local residents have been preparing for the storm since a winter storm watch was issued early Monday.
The current forecast for Fredericksburg calls for rain starting Tuesday afternoon and turning to snow overnight. The snow is expected to continue through Wednesday and is even possible into the early-morning hours Thursday.
