A 17-year-old male reported that he was robbed and assaulted by another juvenile inside the victim’s apartment in the 1300 block of Willow Lane, Natatia Bledsoe, Fredericksburg Police spokesperson, said. The victim required transport to the hospital for treatment of a head injury he received during the incident. The 15-year-old offender was later taken into custody near his home in Spotsylvania, Bledsoe said. A resident at the Dunning Mills Inn Extended Stay Hotel on Jefferson Davis Highway, reported Oct. 30 that after hearing a knock, he answered the door to his room and was immediately assaulted by three male subjects wearing ski masks and black gloves. This occurred at about 11:20 p.m. The victim reported that two of the assailants were also wearing brass knuckles, according to Fredericksburg police. A 23-year-old Culpeper resident studying at Rappahannock Regional Library on Oct. 23 was the victim of a man exposing himself, according to Fredericksburg police. The girl told police she was studying at a table when a male subject approached her and asked if he could also sit at the table. The victim said a few minutes later she looked over at the suspect and saw that he had his genitals exposed, according to police reports. "The victim immediately left the table to notify a staff member and the suspect left the building through a door that exits on to Lewis Street," said police reports. The…
A Fredericksburg resident in the 2300 block Cowan Boulevard called police on Oct. 16, when his 5-year-old son found a bullet hole through the wall of a bedroom, according to Fredericksburg police.  The call came in at about 10:40 a.m. "The investigating officer further discovered that the bullet had lodged into the side of the bedroom dresser," police said in an email. Police determined that the fired round came from the adjacent apartment, so officers cleared that residence and found that its occupant was not at home. A loss prevention employee at the Kohl's on Carl D. Silver Parkway reported to City of Fredericksburg Police on Oct. 15 that a female subject picked up a piece of merchandise in the kitchenware section and proceeded directly to the customer service desk, where she received a full store credit for the item. "The female then immediately left the store," said a news release from the department. "While investigating the incident, the officer was able to speak to the suspect by phone when she called in to the store to complain that her credit had been voided." A 27-year-old Fredericksburg man has been arrested and charged with grand larceny, larceny of lottery tickets and trespassing after he allegedly jumped over a 7-Eleven counter on Sept. 29.  According to the City of Fredericksburg police, an employee of the 7-Eleven at 1613 Dixon St. reported that a male subject entered the store while he was in a back room, jumped the counter and stole an unknown number of lottery tickets before fleeing the scene.  "The employee recognized the subject as someone who had been inside the store on previous occasions and had been barred from the premises," said a…

An employee of Aggregate Industries in Greenbelt, MD told police that his company-owned truck and attached box trailer were stolen from the parking lot of the Best Western at 2205 Plank Road Wednesday. The truck and trailer were reported missing at 4:30 a.m. Wednesday, according to the City of Fredericksburg police.  "The truck is a white 2006 Ford F-350 and the trailer is a white 32-foot gooseneck enclosed trailer containing tools," said a press release from the City of Fredericksburg. A City of Fredericksburg police officer saw the suspect from a shooting incident at Grapevine Cafe on June 9 driving a white Infiniti on Fall Hill Avenue and took him into custody on Sept. 15.  A release issued by the department said that the officer followed the vehicle onto Wicklow Drive and took the driver into custody on the pending warrants. A property owner in the 1700 block of Caroline Street reported Sept. 14 that two male subjects entered his storage building and removed a brass headboard and footboard. Despite a witness stopping the men before they put the items into their green sedan, the suspects were still able to steal them and leave the area, City of Fredericksburg police said in a release. An Orange resident reported to Fredericksburg Police that he advertised his ATV for sale on Craigslist and arranged to meet a buyer in the parking lot of Walmart at 1800 Carl D Silver Pkwy. between Sept. 11 and 12. The buyer allegedly gave the victim a cashier’s check to pay for the ATV, but the check was later determined to be fake, said police. The investigation is ongoing. A woman fishing on the Rappahannock River off Fall Hill Avenue in Fredericksburg told police on Aug. 31 that a tall and skinny bald guy disrobed and jumped in the river for a few minutes before leaving on a trail. The incident happened at 5 p.m. in the 3200 block of Fall Hill Avenue. The woman said the man was in the river for a few minutes befor he got out, put his clothes back on and slid a backpack over his shoulder while he returned to the walking trail. Assault Reported at the Regional Library Antonio Hill, 30, of no fixed address, was arrested and charged with felonious assault on Aug. 29 when a Fredericksburg police officer reportedly witnessed a male subject "assaulting another male by striking him repeatedly in the face," outside the Regional Library according to City of Fredericksburg police reports.  A 25-year-old homeless man allegedly fell to the ground and was transported by ambulance to an area hospital for a broken jaw, police said.  Police reports said Hill was taken into custody without further incident.  Two Charged in …
