Throughout January, Brush Strokes will be featuring an exhibit of works created by local guest artists, each invited by one of the gallery's members.
January's "Artist Invitational" exhibit will include a broad spectrum of mediums, styles, and subjects and will give artists in the area who don't often have an opportunity to show their works a venue to display their talents to the public and to meet members of the Fredericksburg arts community.
A First Friday reception will be held on January 4th from 6-9 pm in honor of the Guest Artists. Their artwork wil hang at Brush Strokes from December 31 through January 27.

Each month Brush Strokes Gallery has a new local artist's work on display. First Fridays is the gallery opening when the new work is revealed. Paintings, jewelry, earthenware and ceramics, photography and sculpture are just a few of the types of art that can be found each month. Prints of the work can also be purchased in the gallery.
