Saturday, June 9th, join the American Canoe Association (ACA) in celebrating the Rappahannock River at the Riverfront Park in downtown Fredericksburg.
With a day full of activities for the entire family, you can volunteer at cleanups to help make our river a better place to paddle; sign up for stand up paddleboard, kayak, or canoe instruction; tube down the Rappahannock's best rapids; take an interpretive canoe trip lead by a local National Park Service Historian; and so much more! There will be a moon bounce on-site and backyard games with REI of Richmond.
Join us in the evening for live music from local Rock n' Roll band Wave on Wave and a screening of the Reel Paddling Film Festival World Tour under the stars! Beer from New Belgium Brewery will be sold in the evening.
A full schedule of the day's events and registration can be found online. All funds go towards the ACA's clean water initiatives.

More About Riverfront Park
Riverfront Park is a community recreational area located on the Sophia Street Riverfront in Fredericksburg. The area offers beautiful views of the Rappahannock River as well as numerous gardens with flowers and plants, and an outdoor amphitheater. The park is located only two blocks from the downtown parking garage and holds all types of special events, including Picnic In the Park and summer concert events.
