Central Rappahannock Regional Library, 1201 Caroline St, Fredericksburg, VA | Get Directions »
FREE
Anthea (Kawakib) invites you to learn hand drumming, Middle Eastern style; free since 1999 - donations appreciated.
Try authentic instruments (some loaners available) like the tar, riq, doumbek... or bring your instrument (djembe's okay).
You'll learn traditional Middle Eastern bellydance rhythms - especially helpful for bellydancers learning to play finger cymbals too!
Newcomers are always welcome.
