A night of great jazz performances by several regional artists including: the Bruce Middle Trio, Sabor AfroCubano, and The Dangerous Kitchen. We will be performing a concert and leading discussions on the music, FJC and what we can all do together to keep "America's Music" alive and vibrant in our schools and community. In April, 2011 the greater Fredericksburg area jazz educators, musicians and fans came together to form The Fredericksburg Jazz Collective. The FJC is a non-profit organization whose mission is to provide funding for the purpose of presenting local concerts and events, educational programs, music workshops, music clinics and offset the costs incurred from promoting and marketing free or low cost events to the general public.

More About Kenmore Inn
The Kenmore Inn was built circa 1793 and is a luxurious bed and breakfast and pub and restaurant. It is located in downtown Fredericksburg, a few blocks from Mary Washington's home, antique shops and historic sites. The gardens are a marvel, with a lower patio off the rustic pub that would make for a grand party, wedding or gathering. The porch with wooden rockers makes the perfect place to sit back, relax and take in Fredericksburg. The nine bedrooms each feature flat-screen television with cable, private bathrooms, and high-speed Internet. Four of the rooms have the luxury of having working fireplaces and vaulted ceilings.
