Students Create Art about Fire Safety with CVFR

Third-graders at Chancellor Elementary submitted artwork in the first Fire Safety Coloring Contest sponsored by Chancellor Volunteer Fire & Rescue. The winner, Chelsea Hacking (second from left), was driven to school on Friday, March 14 in a CVFR fire truck with Sparky. Haley Stowe (far left) was the second-place winner and Finn Irving (far right) was the third-place winner. The project coordinator, CVFR's Steve Dove, reported that the contest was a big success and he hopes it will become an annual event.
