A workplace dispute ended in April 2011 with the shooting death of Le D. Hoang at the Belleview Barber Shop in Alexandria. This week, Hung T. Nguyen, 46, pleaded guilty to first degree murder.

Nguyen had been an employee at the barbershop until quitting in December 2010. Nguyen would reportedly argue with his coworkers frequently, but the incident that pushed him over the edge is surprising. Read about that and more in our daily collection from across Patch sites in Virginia and D.C.
