"We are down to our last cans of wet cat food," the shelter posted on its Facebook page. "With our numbers at over 250 cats right now, we are going through several cases a day. If you could donate any canned cat food, we would greatly appreciate it."
Canned cat food donations may be delivered to the shelter during normal business hours from 11 a.m. - 4 p.m. on Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday and Thursday. The shelter, located at 10819 Courthouse Rd. in Fredericksburg, is closed to the public on Tuesday and Wednesday.
