Freeze Envelopes Fredericksburg Area Through Weekend

Temperatures are predicted to stay below 40 until next Monday.

The weather cooperated for the 57th presidential inauguration, with sunny skies and temperatures in the 40s. After the parade down Pennsylvania Avenue, temperatures began to tumble.

The Fredericksburg area will likely see temperatures at or below freezing through Saturday, according to the National Weather Service

Tuesday night's low is expected to be around 12 degrees, the coldest night of the week.
