Join us on July 14 from 1-3 pm for Second Saturdays at the Museum! Come celebrate on of Fredericksburg’s finest traditions, the Soap Box Derby, and learn about the annual event in our new exhibit, Thrill of the Hill. Kids will get a chance to create their own miniature Soap Box Derby cars while drawing inspiration from the Derby cars and memorabilia on display in the Mansard Gallery. FREE!
Second Saturdays at the Museum is a regularly scheduled family program that includes hands-on activities, make-and-take crafts, and an opportunity to explore the Museum’s exhibits. The program is held on the second Saturday of each month from 1 – 3 pm, with varying topics and themes. Second Saturdays at the Museum is a FREE program unless otherwise specified.
