Major Traffic Delays Heading South on Interstate 95
Two tractor trailers involved in accident that has traffic barely moving south of Fredericksburg.
The Virginia Department of Transportation is warning of major delays on Interstate 95 near Richmond as two wrecked tractor trailers are blocking most of the traffic heading south.
As of 12:15 p.m. Friday, all lanes and both shoulders of the road were closed, as well as the entrance ramp at mile marker 89 in Hanover County.
A detour was in place, but traffic was reportedly backed up more than three miles. Onlookers were also delaying traffic heading north.
