Wintry Mix to Resume Overnight into Tuesday, NWS Said

NWS has issued a winter weather advisory for 3 a.m. - 2 p.m. Tuesday.

Snow, freezing rain and sleet will likely return to the Fredericksburg region overnight into Tuesday, according to the National Weather Service.

The wintry mix is expected to change to all snow between 7 and 10 a.m., with accumulations of 1 to 3 inches possible.  The temperature is expected to hover near 33.  Snow should end by mid-afternoon.

Wednesday is predicted to be sunny, with a high near 42.
