With most traditional media outlets, you have to "pitch" your idea, then hope it isn't buried amidst all the other suggestions.  Not so with Patch.

Yard Sale? Special Event? Promotion? Graduation? Award? Call for Volunteers? Job Opening?  Whatever you'd like to share with our community, post it on Fredericksburg Patch.  Here's how:

• From the homepage of Fredericksburg Patch, first sign-in at the upper right hand corner.

• Then under the "News" tab click on "Announcements", then Add An Announcement (in the upper right hand corner). 

• Add your event to the Events Listing.  Scroll down the homepage to 'Events' in the right hand column, and click on Post Your Own Event.

• Write a Letter to the Editor.  Send the exact wording to Susan.Larson@Patch.com.

Include a photo or logo (jpeg or pdf), if possible.  Your news will be published on Fredericksburg Patch and shared via Facebook and Twitter.  It may even appear in our daily email newsletter.
