Winter Weather Closures in the Fredericksburg Area, January 29

Closings, cancellations and delays in the Fredericksburg area.

Please refer to the comments section following this article for additions throughout the day.  Add your closings there, too.

Central Rappahannock Regional Library
branches in Stafford, Spotsylvania, and Fredericksburg will open at 11 a.m. Cooper, Montross, and Newton branches in Westmoreland County will remain closed due to road conditions.

Fredericksburg Academy is closed.

Fredericksburg Christian Schools
are closed.  Code 2 for 12-month staff.

Fredericksburg City Schools
will be closed Wednesday. Code red for 12-month employees.

Fredericksburg government offices will be opening two hours late All essential personnel must still report as directed by their supervisors.

Fredericksburg Learning Enhancement is closed.

Fredericksburg Parks & Rec classes and activities are cancelled.  The Dorothy Hart Community Center will open at 10:30 a.m.


All Germanna Community College locations will open at 10 a.m.

Holy Cross Academy and Saint Mary Preschool of Fredericksburg are closed.

Lighthouse Academy of Fredericksburg is closed.

MCB Quantico will open at 10 a.m., code blue. DOD schools aboard the base are closed. Tutoring sessions are cancelled.

The Marshall School in Fredericksburg is closed.

Odyssey Montessori in Fredericksburg is closed.

Saint Michael the Archangel High School is closed.

Spotsylvania County Government will be opening two hours late.

Spotsylvania County Public Schools are closed Wednesday, Jan. 29.  Twelve-month employees are on code two.  Make-up days are now scheduled for February 17 and March 31.

Stafford County Public Schools are closed today.  Code two for stall.  All activities -- day and evening -- are cancelled. 

University of Mary Washington campuses will open at 10 a.m.
