1 - First Friday Art Walk - New exhibit openings and receptions in downtown Fredericksburg from 6 - 9:30 p.m. Friday, June 7. Area restaurants, shops and museums are open late and regularly host performing artists to complement First Friday Art Walk. A map is available at the Fredericksburg Visitor Center. Participating galleries include:

2 -Fredericksburg Theatre Ensemble (FTE) presents Sylvia - 8 p.m. Friday, June 7, and Saturday, June 8, at Central Rappahannock Regional Library. Tickets are $10 and may be purchased online or at the door.
3 - Kids Fishing Derby - 7 a.m. - 3 p.m. Saturday, June 8, at Motts Run Reservoir. Kids ages 4 - 16 may register free on site from 7:30 - 10:30 a.m. The tournament is from 9 a.m. - 12 p.m. Raindate is June 9. Bring your fishing gear and a lawn chair and enjoy fishing, limited boat rental, games, prizes, food vendor and picnicking. Weigh-in begins at noon. There will be awards and door prizes.

4 - Art in the Park (7 a.m. - 2 p.m.) and Kids Day (9 a.m. - 1 p.m.) - Two special events at the Fredericksburg Farmers Market on Saturday, June 8, in Hurkamp Park.
5 - 6th Annual Wounded Warrior Car and Bike Show - 10 a.m. - 3 p.m. Saturday, June 8 at Wilderness Presidential Resort, 9220 Plank Road, Spotsylvania. Gate opens at 8:30 a.m. for vehicles. $10/Pre-registration is $10 Day of Registration is $15. Spectator fees are $2; $1 for members. All proceeds benefit the Wounded Warrior Project.

6 - Heard in the Burg Blue Grass Boogie Benefit Concert - 6 - 11:45 p.m. Saturday, June 8, at the Fredericksburg Fair Grounds. Live benefit concert featuring Larry Keel, The Hackensaw Boys, Elby Brass & Big Daddy Love. All ages are welcome. Food and beverages will be served. Tickets are $20, children under 12, free.
