Downtown Walking Tours Begin April 6

Bricks and Boards in the 'Burg will highlight the city's history and architecture every Saturday from April 6 through October 12.

The Fredericksburg Area Museum and Cultural Center, along with Hallowed Ground Tours, will present its third season of historic downtown Fredericksburg walking tours April 6 - October 12, 2013.

Tours begin at 10 a.m. and end at 11:15 a.m. in Market Square, located behind Town Hall.

Bricks and Boards in the ’Burg will highlight history and architecture from four different centuries, the historic influence of the Rappahannock River, the spire and steeples of Princess Anne Street, Fredericksburg’s Town Hall, Market House and the history of Market Square.

The cost for all tours is $5/adults, $2/children and $2/students.  The tour is free for museum members. Participants will receive a discounted entry fee into the museum.
