Altered Books From Start to Finish

Learn all the tips and tricks for turning a discarded volume into an individual wrok of art.  We will begin with a recycled book, prep the pages and learn all sorts of techniques for embelishment.  You will learn to create pockets, pull outs and niches within the altered book.

This class will take place over several sessions to allow the student to work and explore all sorts of possibilities on their own.

We will use collage techniques, resist techniques and painting techniques. We will use junk mail, fabric, stitching and bead work! Anything goes in altered books!!!
