Electro Acoustic Barn Dance

  • Why Go: This three day festival of electronic music and art hosts a series of concerts that include composers, artists and scholars from around the world.

Preschool Palette: Autumn Fun Workshop

Craft Fair

  • Where: Riverbend High School

  • Why Go: This craft fair hosts a number of big-name vendors, and benefits the Program for Teen Parents. Proceeds go towards the Childcare Assistance Fund, which supplements the cost of childcare, allowing teen parents an opportunity to complete high school.

Female Biker Empowerment Conference

  • Where: Dorothy Hart Community Center
  • When: Saturday, Nov. 10, 9 a.m.
  • Why Go: A conference and networking opportunity for women who enjoy motorcycling. Many workshops are included throughout the day.

Urban Trail Ride

  • Where: Old Mill Park
  • When: Saturday, Nov. 10, 9:30 a.m. - 12 p.m.
  • Why Go: Bring your own horse and enjoy a ride through the streets of historic downtown Fredericksburg.

Swashbuckling Pirate Party Adventures

  • Why Go: See the Fiber Art series at the Museum, and learn to make yarn sculptures and how to finger knit to make handmade holiday gifts.

Concert in Lights Kick-Off

  • Where: The Village at Towne Center
