Ava Laurénne Bride Announces Expansion, Partnership with Glam

Glam, by High Maintenance, joining the expanded store.

Ava Laurénne Bride is expanding.

The downtown Fredericksburg business co-owned by sisters Wendy Rivera and Christy Stutzman has leased space at 905 Caroline St., adjoining their current space at 907 Caroline St.

The larger footprint will enable the duo to meet customer requests for brides' maid, mother of the bride and special occasion gowns and dresses, as well as tuxes.

In addition, Michele LeDrew, owner of High Maintencae Fashion and Image Consulting, will be opening her accessory business -- Glam, by High Maintenance -- in the shop.

The grand opening is scheduled for Jan. 4. 2014.

The announcement came during Thursday night's Winter Wonder Glam Workshop presented by High Maintenance Image & Fashion Consulting with support from local businesses including Ava Laurénne Bride, Monkee's of Fredericksburg, BobbyPins & Blush, Cache and Gia Ellis, Independent Stylist - Homecoming Trunk Shows.
